Hi, folks. First time here. Got a new Mazda 3 in July 2014 and basically use it for recreational trips on weekends, although my wife now uses it sometimes since her '98 Honda Civic died. I've got under 13K miles on it.
I've taken it to Jiffy Lube a couple of times for oil changes, but I only took it to the dealer shop for the first time just a week or so ago. I took it in because my wife had lost the original spare key two weeks after I gave it to her, so we finally got the $350 replacement so she could have her own.
While I was there (Royal Mazda in San Francisco) to get the key programmed, they said I needed a software update, so I got that. A week or so after I got the car back, I noticed the driver's side interior dome light no longer works. Passenger side is fine. I have put the 3-way switch in every position to no avail. Just wondered if this is a freak occurrence or what.
